TESTIMONIALS

Debi Hemmeter had the original vision for Leanin.org. Long before I even wrote the book, she came to see me and told me that I should take the ideas in my TED Talk and start an organization to help women put these ideas into action.”

Debi Hemmeter, is a Hudson Certified Executive Coach, a frequent keynote speaker, and Co-Founder of Leanin.org, a global organization founded alongside Sheryl Sandberg, the former COO of Facebook/Meta, which brings women together in every industry at every stage of their career to encourage them to go after their career ambitions. Debi has an impressive career spanning over 25 years in the private sector across 4 Fortune 50 Companies including PepsiCo, Sara Lee, Wells Fargo Bank and Bank of America. Debi's journey began at PepsiCo and Sara Lee, where she excelled in sales and marketing roles in the consumer products segment. After 10 years she was recruited by Wells Fargo Bank, where she specialized in retail banking strategy, marketing, and business development. Later, Debi joined Bank of America, where she successfully led their 5th largest retail market, in sales, operations, and service managing $3.4 billion in assets and 1600 employees.

Throughout her professional career, Debi personally experienced the power of several crucial Lean In principles. She strongly advocates for women to "sit at the table," "don't leave before you leave, “ and lastly facilitate a safe and open dialogue about unconscious bias in the workplace to drive bottom-line results. Debi has two daughters and she’s proud to see them fully embrace the philosophy of "leaning in" as they navigate their own paths to success.
